Ten year old Alfons dreams of becoming a cosmonaut. His father is a down to earth sort of guy who has little time for dreamers and fantasy. He wants to toughen up his son and makes life difficult for him. Alfons decides to run away to Moscow to realize his dream. He sets off on his journey together with girl friend Micki.
