I know Especially Americans love to put a lot of weight on someone turning 18 and suddenly be „of age“ etc. but yeah imho there’s not much difference between the actress being 17,5yo or 18yo.

Her photographed images in the film were absurdly referred to by the characters as "child porn" (they were not, although moral crusaders have a hard time making that distinction), so the makers of THIS film just might have chosen an 18-year-old so they would be safe from that accusation being made against them.

Spoiler: Mainstream media and online users often also call J.Epstein a pedophile when the majority of girls he seems to have trafficked or had sexual encounters with were 16-17yo teenage girls (see the photos of Prince Andrew with that Virginia Guiffre girl). Most people (online) are way too ignorant/dense to acknowledge or understand the actual meaning of these words they use. FLM has always been a forum where we share movies with child actors. By the meaning of this word this does not include actresses/actors who are older than 16 playing the role of a child or a younger teenager. At least this is the way I understand this forum.

But it is true: We really stated it differently in our posting rules some years ago.

'Children' includes kids up to the age of 16. Many children's roles are played by actors or actresses older than that, but if the characters they play are 16 or younger, that's acceptable.

I really didn't remember this wording. It's been a while since I last read our posting rules.

For this reason I (we) will be more tolerant in the future. It will always depend on the posted movie. Movies with adult actresses/actors who don't look like a child or a younger teenager will still go to the Off-Topic forum. And this doesn't mean it's a bad movie or that we don't like your post. The content just doesn't fit for FLM.

Yeah I think that’s why I thought about it this way as well, I once read the old rules and it stuck in my head.

Either way, it doesn’t matter too much to me because if it’s in the off topic Forum it is still on the forum anyways
